STATIC SHOCK WEEKEND 2017

November 9 @ 6:00 pm - November 12 @ 9:00 pm

2017. The world is pretty fucked and a lot of our lives tend to be one disappointment after another. What can you do about that? Nothing. We’re all powerless. Everyone goes back on their word, and no-one can be trusted. To contribute to this, after kicking up a fuss about needing to take a year off, we’re back in 2017 with another contribution to the overflowing calendar of fests. Sorry about that!

This year, the weekender will be mainly held in a new home, the ExFed / New River Studios warehouse complex in Manor House, and we’re very excited to be there. Just like previous years, we’re bringing over a selection of some of our favourite bands from the UK, Europe and the rest of the world, with hopefully one or two surprises along the way. Come see what you would like to see, skip what you don’t. All mixed bills. All fun.

Here’s the first announcement of bands playing this year, expect a lot more in the coming weeks. Start looking into those £8, leaving at 6am flights!

To possibly save yourself a few moments:

YES:
– Full line up’s / venue info and everything else will be announced in the coming weeks.
– Tickets will be on sale soon.
– We’ll be trying our hardest to keep everything all ages like always.
– There will be aftershows, dance parties and that stuff too.
– We will be in need of volunteers, places for bands to sleep etc, and would love any help on that front. We’ll put out the call in good time.
– We’re excited to see all of you!

NO:
– Your band cannot play. Sorry, but this is very much a “don’t call us, we’ll call you” scenario and we know who we want. Following on from that:
– Gauze are not on the bill. Just like every other festival.
