Chaos Theory presents: Thing [EP playthrough] / X’ed Out / Cabiria

Thing’s eponymous debut EP fuses the intensity of black metal with the “Sturm und Drang” of orchestral percussion and soaring, dark cello lines.

The band is the brainchild of Tom Atherton (De Profundis) and features contributions from Paul Nazarkardeh (De Profundis, ex-Formicarius), Elliot Beaver (ex-Hecate Enthroned) and Arianna Maysahyeh (Countless Skies, Darkher).

The EP also features legendary drummer Eugene Ryabchenko (Fleshgod Apocalypse, ex-Belphegor, ex-Decapitated).

Thing now move to live ventures and promise an audio-visual spectacle to match their expansive musical vision. So think “Enslaved meets Zappa”, and join us at New River Studios on Saturday 20th May.
