“Lovely Wife are a sludgy noise rock and/or doom duo from Whitley Bay/Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK, centred around vocals and bass and featuring a revolving cast of drummers and additional miscreants. Performing entirely improvised material that slides easily from depth charge doom, to noise rock madness, with influences ranging from Eagle Twin, The Melvins, and Iron Monkey through to Lightning Bolt, Fossils and The Butthole Surfers.”

Over the last 10 years they have released 3 albums and multiple EPs through various labels including Human Worth, Hominid Sounds & Squirrelled Away Records. The band will continue to make as much abrasive noise as they possibly can until the day they physically can’t continue.
MALNOURISHMENT
‘Dissused, rusting, dust covered and improvised garage rock two piece Malnourishment released their debut album ‘Antiseptics’ in 2023 on Rat Run Records. Recorded by Jim Wallis in one day at Bella Union Studios – whilst the pandemic was still fully screwing with everyone’s lives. It both marked a change in sound and also acted as a recording of what they had been playing live pre-pandemic. 100% DIY they are now exploring further and much deeper into the fuzz drenched caverns of how far a Two Piece band can push there sound and song crafting’
