SAFETY JACKET// DAYSY AND THE DEADHEADS// LOST LYRA
March 25 @ 7:00 pm

SAFETY JACKET (Brighton/London)
Safety Jacket is a band from Brighton formed of best friends Harvey, Joe and George. Their vulnerability, raw energy and the closeness of their friendship comes across in their live shows, through fragile and cathartic indie rock songs.
The intense feelings of loss, hopelessness and time rushing away, all went into the songs written in the Summer of 2020 which would go to become Safety Jacket’s debut album ‘Honey From The Wasp Nest’ which was then recorded in just 4 days.
In August 2022 the band released their debut album ‘Honey From The Wasp Nest’ and went on a UK tour in support of the album through October to December 2022.

DAISY AND THE DEADHEADS (London)
Featuring Daisy of Platypus Complex, Daisy and the Deadheads is a new journey for the effortlessly cool and elegant songwriting of Daisy Tortuga. The group released their latest single ‘Strawberry’ back in November with a launch show at The Baths, Hackney Wick. They’ve graced the stage of New River Studios before for krautrock karaoke and it’s a joy to have them on this show.

LOST LYRA (London/Oxford)Delighted to be sharing a bill again with Lost Lyra. The band have recently moved from their hometown of Oxford and relocated to North London. They sometimes have a fragile sound but don’t let that stop you from falling into the great depth of their songwriting. They have also recently provided the soundtrack to the short film ‘Mercy (The Harvest)’
