Music Practice Rooms
We have two fully soundproofed music practice rooms that are available to rent between 9am and midnight (£7.50 an hour weekdays before 6pm, £12.50 all other times).
Both rooms come with PA, 3 x mics, 2 guitar amps, 1 bass amp and a drum kit. Extra gear can be hired if requested in advance.
Recording Studio
Our control room is based round a 24 channel ProTools rig and Amek BC2 console and connects directly to over 100m2 of recording space.
Prices start at £20 an hour.
Radio Studio
We have a small professional internet radio studio that is home to our in-house station, NRBC.
Event Space
Our central event space is suitable for most kinds of performance. It comes with a small stage, full PA and a basic lighting rig.
It is also frequently used for video and photo shoots.
Bar / cafe
The hub of activity is the bar/cafe and is open from 8am to midnight weekdays and from 10am on weekends. We serve tea, coffee and cold food by day, and in the evenings we offer pizza (including vegan option) and a range of beers, wines and spirits.
Kitchen
We have a well-equipped commercial kitchen, complete with pizza oven, and can offer a full catering service to events either at New River Studios or elsewhere.
Private Studios
We have 14 private studios, all with external opening windows and separate electricity meters. You can register your interest by sending us an email and we will add you to our waiting list.
